_guidelines for authors
_all presenters are asked to be present at the virtual meeting room at least 15 minutes before the respective sessions. we kindly request presenting authors to pay particular attention to stay within the indicated time frames:
- typical presentations: the talk should last ca. 15 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions.
- flashtalks (poster substitute): this type of presentation is intended mainly for young researchers and those who prefer posters during offline conferences. the talk should last ca. 5 minutes. we recommend that the presentation consists of 5 slides. slide 1 should contain the title of the abstract, names of all co-authors. questions are not provided, so the last slide should show contact details for people who would like to discuss with the authors. slides 2-4 – be creative!
- keynote lectures (only for invitees): the lecture should last ca. 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for questions.
_all speakers will have the possibility to test their presentations a few days before the meeting. details will be provided in a separate communication.
